Google Quick Tip #2

Use Google to Search a Specific Site

There are some great sites out there with great content (especially some blog sites) that, unfortunately, do not have very good search capabilities built into them. That's really not a problem because you can tap the power of Google search to search those sites.

Let's say I wanted to find all posts on theFAQs.net that have to do with Evernote. I would search using the following string:

site:theFAQs.net evernote

Links to anything on theFAQs.net containing "evernote" would display in Google's search interface.

Now you try it. Search the Chronicle of Higher Education's site (chronicle.com) for "online learning." What did you find?
